Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has exceeded over one million educational anti-drug booklets distributed in just one month. The initiative forms part of the drug awareness programme known as “The Truth About Drugs”, which aims to provide accessible knowledge about commonly abused substances and their short- and long-term effects.
Approximately five hundred volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in public spaces, eu news farsi shops and community areas. The campaign focuses on raising awareness before drug use begins, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a simple way.
